Become a Member of SMA Australia

SMA Australia receives no Government funding and relies on sponsorship, memberships and generous donations so they can provide their support services to SMA families.

Membership includes:

  • Notification of all upcoming SMA Australia hosted events.
  • Free or discounted entry to all SMA Australia hosted events.
  • Opportunities to participate in volunteer activities.
  • Invitation to be a volunteer committee member.
  • Invitation to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Membership fees: (payable on 1 July each year)

  • $30 for low-income families (copy of Healthcare card required)
  • $50 for other families/ organisations

By becoming a member, you agree to fill in additional information that will collect data for the purpose of research and advocacy. This information is kept private and confidential and is de-identified if using as part of a submission. The SMA Australia Privacy Policy is available here.
